  The Burdekin is a Sydney institution and one of the old vanguard of bars which gives the city it's well placed sense of personality. More then that, it gives us a drinking whole devoid of pretention and where the alternative people can thrive and dance. I think places like the Burdekin are the best and Sydney needs more of them

  The Burdekin is quite a well known place. It is popular with locals and the few times I have been there it is always a friendly place where you can get a fair few ales, a variety of places to sit and quite good pub food. The live acts are worth supporting and getting harder to find in Sydney. Check out the happy hour specials, which I think usually end at 7pm.

  Awesome facility, went to an event and it was clean and had an awesome night maybe the smokers are could be a bit bigger but otherwise staff were amazing and its a great place to go for a night out
