    Ate in the upstairs restaurant because there were tables or eating surfaces available in the main pub area. Service was good and the waitress was friendly. There was a mistake on our order which I saw her correct without me having to say anything when the food landed on our tables. I think its a bit expensive for both being a pub and what you get. $32 for a parmigiana at a pub is simply outrageous. You would want something pretty special for that price. Well it was above average but nothing earth shattering, the re was about 15 chips served alongside on a tiny plate. Very disappointing. Chicken parmigiana should be served on a bed of chips. Overall it was okay but it might be worth trying a counter meal downstairs. Nothing compelling enough for me to return though.

    The beef & Guinness pie is delicious! Recommend getting it with mash & gravy. Love the variety of craft beers that are available on tap. Is a great venue for afternoon drinks and even for watching sports on the weekend!

    Nice local old-style (think timber and leather) pub. They have typical pub food downstairs (prices range: $12-20) and some improved quality dishes in the restaurant upstairs. About 10 minute walk from the North Sydney train station or minutes to the buses. They have some great live musicians playing on some nights too.

    A very social place to hang out, with a lively crowd and quite a few spaces to sit at. Their potato cottage pie was of excellent quality, the meat within had a strong resemblance to lasagna, and being served with a nice helping of mash and peas helped bring it home. The only gripe was that the food there seems massively overpriced, which is a little disappointing. The service there was generally alright, pretty regular interactions throughout.

    Great selection of local and craft beers, on a constant rotation. They have awesome pies and food on offer also. Tuesday night they have trivia which is always a bit of fun
