  It doesn't look like much, but the food is excellent (far better quality & generous portions compared to most pubs these days) and drinks are reasonable. It's nothing fancy, but it's not trying to be fancy either. There's something endearing about the fact that you can tell they've started, & given up on, multiple renovations. The pub is what it is, and it is good. The fireplace cranks in winter, and there's a nice courtyard for summer sessions. The regulars are loud, but friendly, and generally keep to themselves. We've taken our son there on multiple occasions and he's only 3 months old, never felt uncomfortable or like the crowd was getting too rowdy. If you want a nice weekday meal, or just want to enjoy your Saturday/Sunday without having to endure the crowds at other venues, this is the spot.

  Great neighbourhood pub. Friendly staff and locals. The food here is amazing and decently priced for a small neighbourhood pub, with daily chef's specials. There's a pool table and nice outdoor area with smoking and non smoking section. Gaming lounge with about 15 machines. Always a relaxing place to come and chill.
