  Short of it: Standard pub - its gone up and down over the years. Its nothing special for the price try and sit on the balcony if possible but the garden is nice too. Not a bad Choice. Long of it: Long time favourite of locals but the food and service is pretty average. For the prices you pay there really should be table service ($20 for Squid and $30 a main). This place could be amazing if a little care was put into the joint - but alas - it will rest on its name and location.

  This is a neat spot in a cute asf area. Great views across the street. The hotel itself is slick, good service and family friendly. Definitely a contender for my kid's next birthday party!!

  We went on Sunday to try the Sunday Roast. Since the hotel was a very popular place, the indoor areas were almost fully occupied around 12:00pm, luckily we found a table at the sport bar. We ordered both lamb roast and pork roast, buffalo wings and sausages. All of us loved the buffalo wings, especially their sauces. Lamb roast was very tender but pork roast was a bit tough, the pork skin was not crunchy. Our family always makes roast pork, we like roast pork with crunchy skin which can melt in the mouth.

  Food is good but not as good as it used to be. Very crowded as part of inside being renovated. Staff very attentive and friendly. Somewhat expensive.

  Had buffalo wings ($18 for 5 wing drumsticks) and pork Sunday roast ($30). Sunday roast was great (yorkie was the best I've had in Sydney). Buffalo wings are not your traditional buffalo - more like a bbq sauce so be prepared for that. Served on delicious ranch dressing.
