Located 40 minutes from the Gold Coast and one hour from Brisbane it is a great place to visit. We are located on the Scenic Rim which includes the Boutique Wine Trail and is a popular drive with both locals and tourists. We have very cosy accommodation which is perfect for a short or weekend getaway.

The Canungra Hotel will cater for everyone, from couples and families to small and large groups. Functions are our speciality and we have several set menus to choose from, or we can design a menu to suit your requirements. Our restaurant also offers an a la carte menu and a special lunch menu available Monday to Friday. We are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. You can have the option of holding your function inside the cosy restaurant or in our large, weather protected beer garden.

    Canungra is at the base of the mountain. The pub looks old but the dining area is very big and popular especially on weekends. The food is amazing and there is so much on the menu. Even though it's busy the food's on the table in no time.

    Great place for a quick dinner after a day's sightseeing! Kids eat free Sat night (with adult meal of course) There was a jumpy castle somewhere as well. We enjoyed our Wagyu steak immensely; perfectly cooked! Great chips. Came back the next night :)

    I have a lot of special dietary requirements and asked the staff what I could eat there - the staff were all helpful and friendly. Within 10 minutes after speaking with the chef Steve, I had a delicious meal in front of me meeting all of my requirements. Thank you!
