  Great venue although it could be better cooled. Awesome ambiance and a staple of Brisbane live music culture. The heat is not a problem in winter but in the hotter months the venue relies on open windows and one or two fans but it's not quite enough when the crowd is heaving.

  Brilliant valley live music venue. Up close and personal to the stage, low ceiling, great sound system make for probably the best atmosphere of the Valley live music venues. Saw the Jungle Giants under 18's with my 8 and 13 year old kids and they loved the whole experience of their first live gig in the mosh. Friendly staff wandering around handing out ear plugs where necessary was a great plus. Couple more water stations wouldn't go amiss as it gets hot and sweaty, but that's all part of the fun! Great place for live music and if you're worried about taking kids to an U18 event, don't be, the Zoo provides a safe space and comfortable environment.

  Used to be better. They had a few decent beers and tins of Young Henry's were $6. More recently, beers are $9 or more and there's not much left to choose from. Still a good live venue though.

  Great intimate venue (saw the contortionist and sikth). Above average sound quality. Got a bit hot (no a/c) but nothing like a visit in Jan last year.
