The Hamilton Hotel has a long history as an Australian icon Hotel. Providing decades of friendly service and hospitality to the locals of Brisbane.
The hotel was built as a meeting place for horse racing identities and it wasn't long before the whole locality was known as The Hamilton.
Gustav Hamilton finally sold the hotel and retired to Toowoomba, however as good fortune would have it, it was taken over by Sam Hamilton who perpetuated the name and the racing history of the hotel.
Today, as one of Brisbanes most well known iconic venues the Hamilton Hotel continues to provide its patrons with that same friendly hospitality and prides itself on the highest quality meals and crisp Australian and imported brews.

    This is a great place for a beautiful meal. It was a bit more expensive than I usually get, but it was worth it! We everything on our plates and even had dessert too! My friend had Lamb with the Berry Cheesecake, and I had Mediterranean Chicken with their Churros. Everything was very tasty and you get a big portion too.

    A brief visit to a modern pub that was alive with a trendy crowd. Many sports screens, cocktails, and good security presence Handy to 300 bus and taxis, and ferries too. Upmarket dress code and well groomed patrons, mainly young adults.

    Had one of the best value-for-money meals for seniors today at the Hamilton. Lovely big piece of barramundi followed by a large slice of mud cake and coffee for $16. Carol had bangers and mash with dessert and coffee.

    Great venue with heaps of off street parking. Food was on point and staff helpful.
