    It's not to bad if you go for the nightly deals, specials did seem to go fairly quickly some within an hour of opening. Nice view out to the water from the restaurant, has standard fare food for the type of place, not amazing though. Pizzas appear to be fairly reasonable.

    Nice river view from bistro. Some menu choices were good but others very ordinary. Overall would go there again but would make different food choices.

    Great pub food with a view out west over the water. Means great sunset drinking. Parmy was generous with fresh salad and nice chips.

    Best bar man Patrick who makes the very best cocktails on the coast. Fantastic food on the river served by the best restaurant manager Mel. The service is incomparable this is the place to be seen in surfers paradise. We love this bar/ restaurant and music venue with friday, Saturday and Sunday live music.

    Heard helm bar has a Jamaican menu for the cwg. Tried the goat. Simply amazing. Extremely authentic Caribbean curry goat (I'm from the Caribbean) so nice to get Caribbean food here on the Gold Coast. The food during the games is cooked by a Jamaican chef who is professional and so friendly. Please stay chef! We need you here!
