  The Morrison hotel is an iconic pub that is close to the city. I have been frequenting the establishment for the last 15 or so years and can never fault it. I find it to be the most consistent place for a good steak that I have found in Brisbane. They have plenty of bars scattered throughout that mean you don't need to walk to far for a cold drink and also have a number of different dining options. They also have a great menu that caters for all ages. It is not to far to the city, west end, southbank or the valley. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

  Awesome Jam session on Tuesday nights. This group of musicians used to Jam at hotel L.A. on Caxton st. The Morrison hotel is a better venue for it due to the layout allowing not only more room for the musicians but better space for the audience and better visibility. Can even watch and hear the musicians while in the smokers zone out front.

  I attended a wedding at the Morrison which was one of the best organised events I have ever. It was seamless. The food was superb with generous serves and beautifully prepared. The Wait staff were polite, attentive and made sure every guest was provided with excellent service. Highly recommended

  Great bar menu. The restaurant menu tops that and give you a table service option too. The restaurant has a really nice and relaxed vibe and the staff are extremely friendly and pleasant. Plenty of wines to pick on the menu, a good selection of beers on tap and a fantastic number of bourbon and whisky to sip into the evening.
