  The food is truly excellent and great value for your $. I recommend any of the steaks particularly the rump special every Wednesday lunchtime. $13.90 for the best rump I've ever had. Service is prompt, staff are really friendly and welcoming. Best pub meal in the city and 100% family friendly!

  Loved the old pub style front bar. Could enjoy the locals interaction for hours. Having schnitzels on special was the bonus!

  Time warp to the 80s but a good steak is still a good steak . Didn't take a pic but have attached for your pleasure this recently restored Vae victus the sack of Morocco by the almohades woe to the vanquished. And what a 5 star name for a painting that is

  Helpful friendly staff looked after us in the huge dining room. Great seating arrangements with seating for two for intimate dining or tables for five or more fir larger parties. Great menu selection but the specialty is steak. The steaks are aged, the meat tender and delicious. The fries are nice and crispy not soggy or squishy. The portions are ample with a good salad bar and also some hot food. A great place for lunch or dinner

  Great salad/veg bar, friendly, attentive staff and a varied menu. One of the few places around that can cook a steak perfectly as requested. They have a great selection of steak cuts to select from as well.
