  Stumbled across this place on a date night with my wife while the babysitter had the kids and so incredibly glad we did. Atmosphere 5 stars Food 5 stars Service 5 stars Steak: 10 stars My wife has a severe seafood allergy and both the serving staff and kitchen were so helpful in making sure our dinners were safe for her. Emma the wait staff manager was just amazing in making sure we had a great night.

  Little hard to figure out what section of hotel was under what title, but friendly staff helped out. So much better now they've done it up! We ate in sports bar. Nice and quiet, $16 pint and parmi deal, yummy. Bar girl was lovely too, my brother has a disability and some staff get a bit funny, she didn't.

  Today I called the Highlander team to help me surprise my family from afar. Matthew, the manager, figured out a way and delivered a voucher to their table! They were shocked and very excited. Great service, friendly staff and the kind of personal touch that makes you want to tell everyone about them! Thank you Highlander team. Jules and Mal

  The food was good... unfortunately other aspects of our visit were not. When a table for 8 is booked we don't expect to have to find extra chairs (possibly because our table was actually given to another booking rather than us?). When using a voucher won at a quiz night you don't expect to be told you have to pay full price for 1/2 price pizzas because you're using a voucher and no there were no conditions on the voucher. After paying for the pizzas seperately we have an issue with what money is left on the voucher because we've been charged full price for the pizzas anyway. Seriously we were a table of 8 watching the footy.... you would have made more money off of us honouring the voucher. As it was we left at 1/2 time and we're not likely to be back for another quiz night either.

  Great experience we were served by Belle and she was so friendly and professional just an asset to the Highlander. The food was nice and salad bar was good just would love a potatoe and pasta bake at the salad bar its so yummy in winter. Overall great atmosphere and food and Belle would be a bonus anywhere with her outstanding customer service skills.
