  It was the first time I had been to this hotel yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised because a VEGAN meal was at the top of the list on the Special menu. It was called the Buddha Bowl. It was the cheapest meal on the menu at $23. It looked magnificent and I enjoyed eating it, so well done, chef!

  Well conceived pub food,reinforcing David Whites solid cred in the kitchen; ex Colonist vanguard of similarly great Nosh! No stress environs,great old Pub,huge drink selection Ales,jugs of cocktails,wines,child friendly, access @rear for wheelchairs/pushers /mobility impaired. Don't deny yourself a visit! A must try : burnt ends with addictive BBQ sauce ! Enjoy !

  Lovely place, but the service wasn't fantastic. We were asked to move from the room we were in, but then others were allowed to enter our event room woth no issue

  Once you've navigated through the pub and crowds..upstairs is quiet and my room is great. This hotel has what you'd expect. Tea n coffee making. A fridge. Aircon. A very comfy bed and squeaky clean and fresh. Towels soap and bath mat. Shared loo and bathroom nut plenty of choices if the nearest one is occupied. With todays technology, and the need for power points, this would be my only gripe. A simple 4 plug extension board would have been awesome. ????

  Great pub with really friendly service, awesome rotating roster of local beers on tap and quality food. 100% recommend to anybody :)
