    This gem of a hotel is one furlong west of the city along Port Road at Bonython Park. A great place to cool your heels while the peak hour traffic and congestion on public transport eases. Inside the warm confines of this 2 storey 1886 bluestone pub lies a warm log fire fueled by mallee roots and the hospitality of convconvivial hosts Sam and Verity. on Mondays and Thursdays once a month pateons are spoilt by surprisingly high quality musicians from the university and local troubadours.

    A little gem of a pub. Welcomed from the minute we walked through the door. Cosy setting and good value traditional meals. Well worth paying a visit.
