  Messaged them to book a table for 2 in front of their open fire on a cold winter day and they were very accommodating & organized this for us. They have a good range on their menu but went for their special of spiced cauliflower soup for entree & freshly baked bread, followed by chargrilled rump steak with thrice cooked chips, both meals were delicious. On top of a lovely meal Jacob provided excellent service. We will be back.

  Being a bit generous with this star rating. Service wasn't great, too busy talking than taking our order. Took a few goes to break up the conversation. It's lunchtime, time is pressed. Food service was fast but my colleague and I both had the same dish, meaning the kitchen clearly saved some time. My dish was slapped on the plate poorly and was an awfully tiny serve of pasta for the price. It was tasty, but lacked seasoning. Left feeling quite disappointed and needed a second lunch.

  Collins Quarter is a great place. I have been so many times I can't even count. The food is good and well priced and drinks are basically the same or similar to most bars in the city price wise. The staff are all pretty good and it is a great spot for after work drinks or just drinks in general. You can have events there and it is well priced and the upstairs bar is a great spot. This is a favourite of mine.

  We had a good time at our office Christmas party, with good food and good liquor served by very friendly staff. However, the music was obnoxiously loud and very dancey despite the fact it's not a suitable place to dance. Also, the first time I ordered a screwdriver I was served a rusty nail, which is a hilariously different drink (and really not to my taste).
