Wonderful woody long room full of bulging couches, battered armchairs and weathered floorboards that will make you want to light up that Cohiba. And you can, for Cuba is just one of the flavours round here. Fine wines and snacks are served in old-world ambience and a jazzy background score bubbles under. The design clincher though is a huge semicircular window looking out over Parliament House.

    The vibe is laid back but the service was comatose. Very hard to order a drink and they forgot to bring water. Did not come back and ask if we wanted more drinks. Great venue but very poor service which was very disappointing.

    Laid back hideaway on the first and second floors with a Chesterfield-meets-bistro speakeasy vibe. 40 page winelist and a one-side menu greet you upon arrival. Seating is a mix of shared sofas and normal bistro tables. Wine list is impressive and well-navigated by the staff. Food was varied (Japanese chicken via Canadian fries-and-cheese to Korean curry via minute steak) and surprisingly good. Classic casual, chilled venue.
