  I organised a large family gathering here on a Saturday night. It was perfect! open space and good pub grub. Free parking after 6pm as well!

  Lovely old pub. Nice to sit outside in the sunshine with a beer after shopping across the street at the South Melbourne Market on a Sunday afternoon. Good pub meals too, their burgers are delish. Friendly and welcoming staff. Service is quick and efficient. We've been to The George a few times and it's been consistently good.

  Staff is polite and helpful. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Food is good, especially I like the steak day which is Thursday.

  Beer prices a little more than some other local places but the staff are friendly, the courtyard is nice and the food is also quite delicious. Overall a nice place, easy to recommend. If they had a little bit better happy hour pricing then it would be a 5 star review.
