  The quality of the food is going down, not sure what changed, it was one of my favourite places. Booked a table for 17 people, got there and there was a table for only 7. I ordered a steak medium done, and I get a rubber over cooked steak with a burnt taste and so much garlic, I could still taste it the next day. My wife got salt and pepper calemari which hard to stuff up, but again it tasted so oily and the sauce was too strong.

  Excellent band venue! Well laid out and reasonable drink prices for Melbourne. Its great to see that some places like this still exist. I'll be looking forward to the next gig i see there.

  Good facilities and good bar service. The sound system was ok. Acoustics were muffled and flat.

  Had a gig at the band room, had some beers in the hotel beforehand. Place well presented, quite reasonably priced, amenities were clean, staff were friendly. Band room was a great location for a gig. Will be back to see more bands in future.
